A bank in Stratford is seeking an intermediate and a Senior .Net developer for a 6 month contract each (to begin and then will extend)...
The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using in-demand languages and technologies to support business requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• Development experience in needed language or technology
• Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end
• Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
This is the same manager for the BSA looking to bring on 1 BSA and 2 developers. One developer will be and intermediate and one will be senior (.Net development and environment). The manager requires 2 developers with .Net and web services experience within an agile environment. The developers will work on replacing legacy systems and other small projects, they will work with a senior developer, scrum master and the BSA.

1) 4-6 years overall as a developer
2) Visual Basic
3) Agile experience
4) TFS (.net version of Jira) would be great
5) Good communication skills
7) Nice to have: knowledge of mortgage industry, Banks/FI, C#
Senior .Net Developer
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 7+ years as a developer (.Net Development)
2) Strong with visual basics , C#
3) Agile experience
4) Strong with TFS
5) web services (large projects would be highly preferred)
5) Knowledge of dev ops, microservices, cloud highly preferred
6) great communication skills
7) Nice to have: knowledge of mortgage industry, Banks/FI,
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor's degree or Post-Secondary education
