A bank in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Business Analyst in Salesforce for a 6.5 month contract (Renewable).
The main function of a Business Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.
Job Responsibilities:
• Works with the Product Owner to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Create Stories with the Product Owner and translates those to programmers and developers
• Create User Acceptance Criteria
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes
• Works on multiple labs as a team member
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
This is a mix of support work as well as a project work. This resource should have a strong understanding of business requirements, get documentation done for developers, building stories, select by design under agile- wants someone who understands agile. This BA will be part of daily stand up meetings, understanding FI/ within wealth management. They are a traveler group, they go help in the labs, looking for someone who understands the bank, a BA needs to understand for the on-board lab within wealth management, sales force. Communication skills are absolutely crucial for this position.

Job Requirements |
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred
• PMP certification. Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
• Agile experience, Certified Scrum Master
• over 8 years. experience with the Financial Vertical
• Experiencing in banking
• Salesforce.com certification l
• Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions
• Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage
• Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details
• Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions
• A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
Must Have Skills:
1) 8 + years as a Technical BA
2) Salesforce certification would be great (understands admin and how sales force works)- doesn’t need to be developer
3) Agile environment
4) Understands the vertical (wealth management)- highly preferred
5) PM lifecycle would be great
6) Excellent Communication skills (Extremely important)- writing and documentation as well as verbal
7) Previous Scotiabank experience within a similar role
8) PMP certification, Agile, saleforce certification
