A bank in Scarborough is looking for an IT Security Analyst for a 6 month contract. Renewable. An IT Security Analyst, under direction of Senior Manager, perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from unauthorized access • Work collaboratively within a team of security professionals in matters of security, production, technology strategy and development • Support and maintain key production systems, ensuring 7/24 availability • Respond to incidents and triage, resolve, escalate as appropriate to meet and exceed SLA metrics • Develop subject matter expertise on assigned security technologies enabling effective and efficient delivery of security services • Upgrade technology systems according to vendor product roadmaps and patching requirements
This resource will act as the SME on this project. They will be orchestrating and automating (connecting all security tools together), using Demisto which is a new technology (broker of info, helps with data gathering). This team deals with cyber security, threat intelligence, building work flows, building playbooks, integrating different technologies

| Job Requirements |
Must Have Skills:
1) Information Security Analyst- 3 years of experience
2) Python, Javascript development languages are key- 3 (hands on development and scripting)
3) managing technology administrators ( I.e., security information, event management, data loss prevention systems), web and email security gateways).- 3 years
4) Good communication skills- being able to speak the technology
5) Nice to have: Demisto (or swimlane, phantom), FI/Bank/Gov,, Front end development
