Job Description A bank in Scarborough is looking for 2 Desktop support Analysts to support a Contact Center Office365 Migration. This project is mid-migration and they have identified a gap with the end-user support. Therefore these 2 Desk-side Support Analysts will provide technical support on-site in Scarborough at the physical contact center. They will provide as front-line, hands-on technical support to the end-user population and escalate to the back-end teams as required. There is a strong focus on end-user experience and customer service in this role. Candidate Value Proposition: This bank is currently undergoing a transformation period to modernize the bank. They are migrating and updating all their technologies creating new projects. Typical Day: • Updating and troubleshooting MS Office Suite products on Office365 • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, typically of a lower complexity • May install software or perform hardware testing remotely • Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support
Job Requirements Must-Have Skills: 1) Technical Support (1-2 years experience with desk-side support) 2) MS Office Suite (1-2 years experience providing technical support on MS Office Suite products - preferably upgrade experience) 3) Windows 7 platform (1-2 years experience providing technical support on Windows 7 platform) 4) Troubleshooting (1-2 years experience with scripting and running commands) 5) Large, enterprise organizations (1-2 years providing technical support at a large, enterprise organization) Nice-To-Have Skills: - SCCM Degrees or certifications: • Associate's degree in computer related field or equivalent training required • Microsoft certifications an asset • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
