A bank in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Senior Developer for a 4 month contract to begin (Support will be rotated among team members. The Wealth Management Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to develop the front-end side of an on-boarding systems application, ensuring it is user friendly and visually appealing. The Senior Developer will be developing front-end screens, web services and integration points with the Pega System, while working closely with UI/UX Designers and Business Stakeholders.

Typical Day in Role
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Work closely with Business Stakeholders (may be conducting demos for stakeholders)
• Work on the front-end/client-side development of applications and systems
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

- Very good understanding of GIT version control (5+ years)
- Intermediate Linux command line and shell scripting skills (3+ years)
- Basic Jenkins
- Good grasp of XML and JSON formats (3+ years)
- Good SQL skills (5+ years)
- Cloud Deployment and Monitoring (must have one of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Front-end:
- React (5+ years)
- ES6 or Typescript (must have, Typescript preferred)
- CSS3, CSS preprocessors
- Responsive web development
- Bootstrap framework
Back-end:
- Nodejs development skills: development, debugging, production deployment
- Web service development skills: REST (5+ years)
