A bank in Scarborough is seeking an Analyst Developer for a 7 month contract to start (Extendable). The Investment Systems Technical Solutions is seeking a Front-end Java Developer to work on an Investments Platforms Project, which is intended to offer investments (GICs) to bank’s corporate and commercial clients. The Developer will be doing hands on coding and will be working closely with Business Partners, Product Owners, BAs and QAs.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to modernize investment solutions for bank clients, while being part of a fun, dynamic team.
Typical Day in Role
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.
