A bank in Scarborough is looking for a Technical Analyst for a 6 month contract and can go to a FTE role, GIAM Logical Access Control is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to work on the AD Consolidation Project, which involves consolidating Active Directory domains from various parts of the bank and acquisitions into a few or single production domains to simplify the AD management across the bank. The project is still in the initial phases.
The successful candidate will be able to use this opportunity as a stepping stone, as it will open up other opportunities for them within the bank.
Typical Day in Role
• Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
• Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles
• Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
• Participate in security compliance efforts
• Develop and deliver training materials and perform general security awareness and specific security technology training
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies
