Job Description	A bank in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Developer for a year contract The Global Wholesale Risk and Technology group is searching for a strong Full Stack developer that has worked with web service technology as well as back end databases to join their new project that will be replacing their existing vendor-based system. • Project: The Vendor Based System that is being replaced requires a special developer who has integrated API’s • The successful candidate will work with an intricate development team that thrives under pressure and feeds off each other to create cutting edge products with new technologies. Typical Day in Role • Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications • Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts • Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution • Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area • Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment • Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Job Requirements	Must Have Skills: 1) 5 + years UI development with Angular (Angular 4.0 min 1 year), along with frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot 2) 7 + years Integrating API’s with Restful Web Services 3) 7 + years database development with PL/SQL and RDBMS 4) Experience building and deploying cloud-ready applications using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins or similar technology 5) Clear communication skills to speak up as needed 6) Team player who can work well with a diverse team • This position will be composed of: 40% UI front development (using mainly Angular 4.0), 30% database development (using mainly PL/SQL) and 30% back end development (using Java) • The hiring manager will be looking at the most recent 3-4 projects and specifically what technology they worked with and what was accomplished Nice-To-Have Skills: - Experience working on soft dollar or money movement projects is a plus - Previous capital markets experience is a plus Degrees or certifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required Candidate Review & Selection • 3 Step Process: 1 phone interview, 1 codility test and 1 in person
