| Job Description |
A bank in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Datastage/ETL developer for a 2 month contract (Renewable). The GWMS - RTB Digital Client Services is looking for a Senior ETL/Oracle Developer
Developing to work on a project which involves centralizing the database for different business lines in Wealth – each has their own database. The ETL/Oracle Developer will be consolidating data and clients into one database (Oracle 12). The project has already started but is expected to be a long-term project.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work on a very interesting large-scale project, while working with a diverse, welcoming and supportive team.
Typical Day in Role-
- Attend daily stand ups
- Analyze and develop code
- Coordinating activities and deployment
- Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
- Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

| Job Requirements |
Must Have Skills:
1) ETL Development - DataStage (Version 11.5 preferred) – 5+ years of experience
2) Oracle (development, enhancements, store procedures) – 5+ years of experience
3) PLSQL Development in Oracle 12 infrastructure – 5+ years of experience
4) Agile experience – 2+ years of experience
- Hands on experience is most important
- The more experience the better
- Required experience must be recent (within in their last position)
Soft- Skills:
- Collaborate with team (Team of 8-10 members – consisting of Developers, BAs, QA, Technical Product Owner)
- Strong communication skills (verbal)
Nice to Have
- FI/Banking experience
- Automation job scheduling
Degrees or certifications:
- Bachelor's degree
