A bank in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Junior Developer for a 6 month contract to begin. The Global Risk Technology group is responsible for managing cash management reports for the group treasury department along with regulatory reporting globally.
• Project: The successful candidate will work alongside a technical lead to manage two ongoing group projects for cash management reporting and regulatory reporting.
• • The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work closely with senior developers to understand multiple languages in various departments.
Typical Day in Role
• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
