Job Description A bank in Downtown Toronto is seeking 2 business Analysts for a 4.5 month Contract (Renewable)The Global Wealth Management Group is building out a new Organizational Unit that will focus on integration with Salesforce for Commercial Banking processes. • Project: RTB CRM Group (Soon to be Salesforce Org Unit) is seeking a Business Analyst to join an ongoing project focused on a Commercial Banking integration using Talend and Salesforce. This project will engage various lines of business in the bank and will comprise of a two-part integration to the Commercial Organizational Unit then to the Wealth Unit. • The successful candidates will have the opportunity to join a collaborative team environment that will be impacting multiple organizational lines within the Bank. Using various techniques and methodologies with Talend, the successful candidate will be exposed to new technology in an enterprise environment Typical Day in Role • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies • Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers • Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation • Reading and writing SQL Queries • Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities • Supports one or more highly complex business processes • Works on multiple projects as a project team member • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Job Requirements Must Have Skills: 1) 5 + years’ experience working through Agile projects throughout the SDLC Cycle 2) 5 + years’ Business Analyst experience within the Financial Industry 3) 5 + years’ experience working on integration projects: focus on discovery and integration phase to identify best practices / solutions 4) 3 + years’ experience working with SOA 5) 2 + years’ working knowledge of Salesforce tools to execute and manage workflow processes at various stages of the SDLC cycle • The Integration will occur using two workflows: integration between the existing organizational unit to the commercial organizational units seamlessly using Talend. The second component will integrate the Organizational unit from Commercial to Wealth again using Talend and Salesforce Nice-To-Have Skills: - Experience with Talend Projects is a plus and will be prioritized - Knowledge of Oracle Storage Procedures with PL/SQL is a plus - Salesforce Certifications Degrees or certifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
