Job Description	A bank in Downtown Toronto's retail Risk Management Systems & Support is seeking a Technical Business System Analyst to assist with a Regulatory Project (IFRS17), which is currently in the early phases and are working through data mapping and data transition (insurance data) for the project. Th BSA will primarily be working on the implementation of the tool that will be modelling the data and configuring within bank’s private cloud and Azure. The project is anticipated to go on for 2 years (end of 2022) Candidate Value Preposition: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be extended while gaining hands on experience with emerging Cloud technologies. Typical Day in The Role: • Infrastructure knowledge with setup/config on SQL Servers / BNS private cloud VM’s. • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies • Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers • Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities • Supports one or more highly complex business processes • Works on multiple projects as a project team member • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Job Requirements	Must Have Skills/Requirements: 1) BSA – 7+ years of hands on experience 2) Cloud experience (data exposure within public cloud infrastructure, transition, manipulation of data from on prem to off prem; - Azure is most preferred) – 3+ years of hands on experience 3) SQL server / SSIS – 7+ years of hands on experience 4) DataStage ETL, not advanced but OFSAA will probably be in DataStage and they need to know how to dive through – 4+ years of hands on experience 5) Experience technical documentation – Solution design, architectural dataflows, infrastructure diagrams – 4+ years of hands on experience Nice to Have Skills: • IFRS 17 knowledge • Experience with Moody’s Axis (not modelling within the tool but has experience in the installation, setups etc) – very nice to have • Moody’s Risk Integrity. (experience configuring within the SAAS tool) – very nice to have • Cloud certification • FI/Banking experience (This bank's experiences is preferred) • Experience with regulatory projects Soft Skills: - Very strong communication skills – verbal & written - Work collaboratively in agile environment - Lead, coordinate meetings with Business - Working closely with other Scrum Masters, Project Leads and other Teams - Work well with team and independently - Solution with business and walk them through the design Education: - Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
