Job Description	A bank in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Data Engineer for a 6-month contract (Extendible) WFH. The Business Banking Technology team is building a new software that will focus on integration with Salesforce for Commercial Banking processes. • Project: Business Banking Salesforce Lightening is seeking a senior Integration developer specializing in Talend (software) as they continue the integration to a new Salesforce Org on Salesforce Lightning (on Cloud) The successful candidate will join a high performance team that manages multiple initiatives Typical Day in Role • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies • Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to developers • Writing complex SQL/SOQL Queries • Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation • Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities • Supports one or more highly complex business processes • Works on multiple projects as a project team member • Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user need Ability to prepare dashboard illustrating complex data analytics across multiple streams of work in business-friendly formats Analyzes large amounts of data from corporate and commercial banking across multiple Salesforce orgs to examine quality and accuracy
Job Requirements	Must Have Skills: 1. 5+ years analysis experience, including working on a project delivering CRM capabilities using Salesforce (must) 2. 5+ years’ strong practical knowledge with Oracle and MS Sql Server database (creating tables, schemas, schema definitions, DDL, etc.) 3. 3+ years’ experience creating dashboards in tools including PowerBI and Tableau 4. 3+ years’ experience working with Salesforce (financial services industry experience preferred) 5. Recent experience with streaming/messaging services such as Kafka Nice to have skills: -experience in Corporate or Commercial banking -experience with Salesforce Einstein Analytics Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required 8-10 years’ experience required
