Job Description A bank in Scarborough (WFH) is seeking 3 help desk technicians each for a year contract. The Client Services and Solutions is seeking 3 bilingual (English/French) IT HelpDesk contractors to provide ongoing support. On the job training will be provided. Candidate Value Proposition: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to get exposure to different areas of the bank. Typical Day in the Role: - Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, typically of a lower complexity - May install software or perform hardware testing remotely - Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors - Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities - Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support
Job Requirements Must Have Skills: 1) Fluent in English & French* 2) Extremely strong communication skills – written & verbal 3) Work well under pressure & strong interpersonal skills 4) Ability to learn quickly, great time management skills Nice to Have Skills: 1) Help Desk experience 2) FI/Banking
